Create an Account
Click the Play Now button in the top right hand corner of your screen.
Now click the Start button.
At the bottom of the page it should say Don't have a penguin? Create a free account now. Click it.
Read the rules, then click the check boxes to the left of both I agree to the Club Penguin Rules and I agree to the Terms of Use.
Then click the Continue button.
Now you need to give your penguin a name. Be sure the name you choose isn't your real name and that it follows the rules.
You'll also need to choose a color for your penguin. There are currently 14 different colors to choose from. Click on a color to see how it looks on your penguin. Once you're done click the Continue button.
If the name you've chosen is already being used by someone else, an orange error box will pop up that says That penguin name is already taken. You'll have to go back to pick a different name for your penguin.
On the next page you will be asked to make a password. This is what you will use to log in. Make sure you never share your password!
You will also be asked to enter your parent's email address. (You can use your own if you're old enough). Make sure it's an actual email address that you or your parents have access to, otherwise you won't be able to play!
Click the Continue button. Now you or your parents will need to check the email you entered.
It may take a few minutes, but you should get an email from Club Penguin Member Services. Click on the Activate Account button.
If for some reason this doesn't work go to http://play.clubpenguin.com/activate_account/index.php and enter your penguin name and the Activation Code provided in the email.
Save this email. It tells you your Penguin Name and Password in case you ever forget it.
Now you (or your parents) will need to choose a chat mode. Ultimate Safe Chat allows you to choose messages from a menu to talk to other penguins. Standard Safe Chat allows you to type your own messages. You (or your parents) will need to click the check box next to I agree to the Terms of Use. Then click the Continue button.
The next page will give you three options: Play Now!, Get Your Membership, and Parents of Penguins.
Click "Play Now!" if you want to start playing right away.
Click "Get Your Membership" if you want to buy a full membership and have access to everything on Club Penguin.
Click "Parents of Penguins" for your parents to manage your account.
