Tutorial Writer
Requirements
You must meet theses requirements to be accepted into staff.- You must be dedicated to the job and have fun with it. If you think you'll quit after just a little while, don't apply.
- You understand that your work will remain on the site, even if you leave.
- When you submit content to our site, you must not submit it to any other site.
- You must not be on anyone's Wall of Shame.
- Sometimes we may ask you to change something, and you must be willing to do it.
- You will not have credit directly on the tutorials, but you'll be on our staff page listed as a Tutorial Writer.
- You must be able to make at least 1 tutorial a month.
- Please know how to write and spell properly. This is extremely important for our Tutorial Writers.
- You need to be an expert on whatever you're writing tutorials for. (ex: Photoshop, GIMP, Paint Shop Pro, etc.)
- You must have easy step by step instructions
- You must include screenshots or pictures in your tutorials so visitors can have a better understanding of what you're doing.
Preferences
Meeting these preferences increase your chance of getting accepted, but they are not required.- We would prefer it if you could code your own tutorials, but it's fine if you can't.
- We would prefer that you are age 13+.
